Types of Therapy
I am a humanistic therapist, working primarily in a person-centred way. This means I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in uncovering your own answers and inner resources.
While my core approach is person-centred, I also have experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT offers a more structured and solution-focused way of working, which can be helpful when addressing specific patterns of thought and behaviour. If it feels appropriate, we can integrate aspects of CBT into our sessions to suit your needs and preferences.

Number of Sessions

I offer open-ended therapy, which means there's no fixed number of sessions. Some clients work with me for a couple of months, while others choose to continue for longer—sometimes over several years. As long as we both feel the therapy is still helpful and the right fit, we can continue for as long as it’s needed.
I usually recommend starting with a minimum of eight sessions, as this gives us time to build a foundation and begin to explore your concerns in more depth. After that, we can review and decide together whether to continue.
Sessions are offered on a weekly or ad hoc basis. Weekly sessions provide consistency and continuity, which many clients find beneficial. Ad hoc sessions are available to book one at a time, with no ongoing commitment—though availability may vary, and sessions might not always fall on the same day or time each week.
Cost
£55 per session (sessions are 50 minutes).
